WCHS English Teachers are ready for everything that comes their way! #WeGotThis #warriorpride
SAT Testing for WCHS seniors will be September 23rd for White Group students and October 14th for Maroon Group students. If you want to double check your testing day please check your email or senior google classroom. Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 am in the gym. You must complete a health verification form before entry into the building. Please enter Door #6 between 7:45 - 7:55 am. Bus transportation for students who typically ride the bus to school will be provided but pickup transportation will need to be arranged. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Please bring a #2 pencil.
WCHS will be conducting Map Testing in both Math and Literature. This is a district initiative so we would like to offer our remote learners the opportunity to take these assessments. Map Math will be held on Thursday, September 10th & Math Literature will be held on Thursday, September 17th at the end of the school day. Remote learners are asked to enter the cafeteria door #2 at 1:45 pm. The health verification form must be completed prior to entry. Chromebooks should be charged and masks worn inside. Students will be seated in desks that are social distanced and follow the 6 foot requirements.
WCHS .... If you have purchased and decorated a locker board students will be able to hang them up first thing in the morning from September 21st through September 25th. We are excited to see the hallways come alive with school pride!!
WCHS students must access Power School and Google Classroom to monitor their assignments & grades on a DAILY BASIS. This applies to all remote and students on their at-home learning day. Grades and attendance are recorded. Parents/Guardians - We appreciate your assistance and are asking for you to monitor your child's grades and scores in Power School and to provide motivation with regard to missing work and low scores, confirm their technology is working adequately, remind your student to email teachers with content-specific and assignment-specific questions and reach out to the teacher if there are any questions or concerns.
Students should be filling out an attendance form online when they are at home learning. Remote students complete this every day and in person students complete it on their at home days. This can be completed on a chromebook or a cell phone.
Please remind your students to submit attendance!
