Dear Parents/Guardians:
Late today, we were made aware of a possible threat of violence and immediately contacted police to investigate the incident.
At this time, we have been assured by law enforcement that students and staff are safe to attend school. Nevertheless, student and staff safety is our top priority, and we will continue to closely monitor this situation and plan to have police present at school tomorrow out of an abundance of caution.
We take all threats seriously as the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Again, after consultation with local authorities, we feel comfortable that the school is safe at this time.
Thank you to the Watseka Police Department and everyone who had a part in quickly addressing this situation.

FFA Poinsettias are for sale while supplies last. Just $7 each, stop in the Junior High/High School front office and they are in the Foyer. Public is welcome to stop in and pick up the Poinsettias!
