Several of our students have been awarded the Illinois State Scholar. This is a statewide award that celebrates the academic excellence of students all across the state. Award recipients are selected based on a combination of their Grade Point Average and SAT scores. Our Illinois State Scholars Mitchell Galyen, Raegan Gooding, Jacqueline Lynch, Ashton Peters, and Jordan Schroeder have achieved great things academically and continue to some of the finest students at WCHS.
