Watseka Elementary

Mrs. Chaney's 1st grade class had a Book Signing Party to celebrate the debut of their book, Winter Fun! This book was recently published by Studentreasures Publishing Company. Each student was able to receive a copy of this book, thanks to the generous donation from our Academic Foundation. During our party we read the book, had each student author autograph their books, and drank hot cocoa.

Unit 9 School District would like to honor the Bradley Police Officers - Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and Officer Tyler Bailey - on Friday (1/7) by asking staff and students to wear blue.

Mrs. Feller’s 2nd grade and Mrs. Tuttle’s 4th grade visited Christmas Tree Lane at the Old Courthouse on Tuesday.

During library time at GRS this past week, the students were busy coloring holiday pages and writing cards to our troops. Their special messages are sure to put a smile on the faces of the men and women in service to our country.
